New Christmas Release - coming soon!
It's officially autumn, which means of course that it's time to zoom ahead mentally to Christmas, and all the good things that happen at Christmas like vacations and snow and unexpected romances. I'm thrilled to announce that my Christmas romance, with the working title of The Scottish Holiday, has undergone some edits and had a facelift, and will be coming out at the end of October to get you in the mood for winter, fairy lights, and cocoa with whiskey, as The King of Cups.
Unbearably gorgeous cover art by my personal art consultant and designer, Sarah.
American college student Charlie Porter is stuck in England thanks to massive storms that blanket Europe. His friend from University, Hugh, rescues him from spending Christmas in the airport by inviting him home to Scotland to spend the holiday with his family instead. Charlie accepts, but he worries that his long-standing crush on Hugh might get in the way of a nice, platonic holiday, especially when Hugh's mother puts them up in a bed together.
Hugh Campbell never bothered to correct his mum's assumption that he and Charlie were dating, but it's getting more and more tempting to make the misunderstanding a reality. Charlie is only in the UK for a year; it can't possibly last. Celebrating with Charlie beside him only makes it worse, and all his friends seem to see right through them. But what is Christmas for but risking it all on a new romance?
Keep an eye out; The King of Cups will be coming out soon!
