Back to School Blog Hop!
Welcome to the Back to School Blog Hop! Thanks for stopping by.
I love this time of year. It's so full of potential. In Baltimore, where I live now, the weather is still hot and muggy, holding onto summer, but the evenings are cool as if the promise of the relief of autumn is right around the corner.
I write a lot of college romance, and there's a very good reason for that. My college experience is still very fresh and present in my mind, so I can tap into them at any time: the thrill of going abroad, the awkwardness of a new class, the excitement of a dirty basement party. College as a setting is very freeing, because it has a framework to play with (go to class, study, eat in the dining hall, goof off on the roof of the dorm), and yet there is so much one can do in between those academic requirements. College kids are trying stuff out for the first time, exploring their surroundings, learning from one another as much as they learn from their professors. And college settings will throw tougher thee the wildest of personality differences, which is like a tinderbox of romantic conflict. I love it.
Since this is a hop, and you deserve something nice for listening to my blather, leave a comment on this post to be entered in a drawing for your choice of my college-set romances: Experimental Repeatability, Hard D, or Busy Doing Nothing. Your choice!
